Google kicked BMW

Do you spam search engines with content that is not shown on your website? Well, BMW, a german carbuilder we all know, did.

In the last days some bloggers wrote about the topic “BMW spams Google” and someone maybe used Google’s form to submit spammers. What happened? BMW.de has been kicked out of Google’s index. This stated an example that will gain a lot of media attention – and every company that isn’t 100% sure about it’s SEO’s methods should immediately reasses it’s website in order to avoid having to face the same destiny as BMW did.

To all of you who can’t believe this – try it yourself: http://www.google.com/search?q=bmw.de
