Ruby on Rails

The last two days I did some diving into RoR. I think it is a very interesting framework. After playing around with sample code from the video tutorials (screencasts), I decided to take this further and bought the book “Rails Recipes” as PDF and print version – I can start using the PDF right now and receive updates to it, the print version will come via airmail to Germany in the next days. Right now I’m not very much into Ruby, I think it’s very different from what I’m used to from PHP. But I really want to develop my skills and I am going to create the next version of my website with Ruby on Rails. But until this is possible, there’s much work to do.

    Why don’t you use ASP.NET?

Because RoR rocks. I know a few people who used to use ASP.net, but they all switched to PHP because of problems they had with ASP.net. Now Ruby on Rails is the next big thing. I’ll try it.

And well, did you see the tiny Microsoft logo in the corner of the website you linked? ;-)

Besser w?re “Agile Web Development with Rails”, dort versteht man besser die Hindergr?nde.
