(mt) New Server

RoR

I’m happy to announce that I’m finally able to use Ruby on Rails on a real server beyond my localhost. Yesterday Two days ago I ordered a (gs) Grid-Server with (mt) MediaTemple — a few minutes later it was already configured and ready to use.

After some nice introducing emails with tips on how to act further, I’m now trying to move (at least) some of my projects over to the new server. This site will probably remain here for some time — but stay tuned for further updates!

PS: This is the 50th post since I launched this blog some months ago! I’m still in the progress of developing my own CMS for this site — now the technology used is called RoR.

(mt) is definitely one of the best hosting companies around and the Grid-Server just rocks! I’m using a Dedicated-Virtual Server with ZPS over there and until this day the performance is so great. They are really caring about their systems and the support is much faster and better than i.e. with TextDrive. (Nothing said of the ultra-sexy control center) ;)
