Cupertino gains market share
According to a recent study of Net Applications Apple’s market share goes upward.
The number of computers on the internet which were built by Apple circles around a figure of 5,39% while 24% of them are Intel macs — a lot of Apple users have already switched to the new architecture.
One year ago only 2,73% of the users online used Apple’s Safari to browse websites. While the latest figures say that there are 13,5% Firefox users out there, Safari’s market share amounts more than 4% these days.
I’m part of both of Apple’s increasing user numbers — my Mac Book Pro is an Intel Mac and I’m using Safari to browse the web.
