Chimaera: Windows XP inside of Mac OS X

Parallels.

Sometimes I need to test a website with Microsofts Internet Exploder Explorer to ensure incompatability. Thanks to Parallels now it’s right there at my fingertips — the new Beta boots Windows right into Mac OS X and enables you to use Windows applications side by side with your Mac OS X ones.

The new coherence mode makes it possible — there’s no need to switch between the operating systems anymore, they simply run sort of mixed up.

If you click the picture above you may notice it’s two days old yet. I needed some time until I was able again to post this — it was a shock to see Windows XP GUI elements on my MacBook Pro’s screen. ;-)
