AppFresh — keep all your apps up-to-date

AppFresh Icon

AppFresh is an utility that keeps all applications on your Mac up to date by checking the internet for new releases and makes downloading and installing them a breeze.

AppFresh covers software updates from Apple and third parties and can be used as a replacement for Apple’s own Software Update application to provide one central place to make sure you’re up to date.

I tried it-and it works pretty well (keep in mind it’s in Preview status)

Many of the applications I use already have an Appcast feed that’s used to track down the most recent version of an application. AppFresh then loads the installer to your desktop—in further versions it will install updates considered safe itself.

I’m eager for updates to AppFresh—it definitely sounds like a great time saving application.

Go check it out: AppFresh

Update: Metaquark just released a new version of AppFresh!
