Twitterific — there’s a new version of the twitter client

I’m using twitter since 11 days now, and I have to admit, it’s really pretty addictive.

Even though it seems to be a little stupid to answer the question What are you doing? over and over again, twitter can be really useful—I wrote about it before.

But going to a website to answer the simple question quoted above is a little bit of overkill—and you have to either go there as well to receive the answers your twitter friends give or enable twitter to txt these little messages to your phone.

As you do it, so it is time-consuming. The nice folks over at the iconfactory are willing to undertake the solving of this problem: Yesterday they released a new version of Twitterific, a lightweigth twitter client that enables you to easily browse your friends tweets, tweet by yourself and notifies you with a nice chirping sound whenever one of your friends posted a new message.

Update: Add Twitterific as a friend on twitter to stay up-to-date with updates to or problems with Twitterific.

Nice wallpaper! Where did you get it from?

Thanks‚Äîit’s homemade. I used some ornament brushes to paint a lighter grey on the dark background and put my initials in the center.

I like it because it is a dark and non-disturbing plain background, that doesn’t destract my attention from the applications I’m using.

In complete size and on my mobile

    I like the new twitterific.
It’s faster and more stable than the old one.
