Sorry, but I don't think you can compare 300 and Lord of the Rings. These are two totally different movies. Second: I heard many now who told me it's meant to be like that and the like. Maybe it's just me and I simply don't like movies that are meant to be like that?

If you watched films like Gladiator, Troja or Martix you will see exactly the same. The Colors are highly changed to the ancient brown or matrix green.
But usually you don’t realize the modifications, because the story is that exciting.
And sometimes, of course, the are that good, that you just know, that it’s fake but you don’t believe it.

I totally agree with you. I saw it today and was really disappointed.
A waste of money!

If you want to see a better movie go and watch:
“The last king of the scots”.

Much much better!
