I also have some kind of problem. Whenever I update my wordpress from old version to new version. All plug in de activated and I will have to put those plug ins again and again.

That’s why I always ignore to update. If you guys have any solution for this than please let me know.

At the beginning everything looks tough but you have to show the guts and just try to do it by yourself once and you will see this one is really easy.

If other people can do this than I am sure you also have such capability and you can also do it. Just GO AHEAD !!

I am still afraid from updating my 2.5 wordpress. This kind of work was assigned to my brother. Since he is out from the country for business purpose hence I will have to stick to the old version.

Someone told me that I could lost my contents and all as well. So just waiting for my brother to arrive.

WordPress 2.7 is cash money! I use it on all my blogs and set it up with a bazillion plugins. Gotta watch out for path errors in the image uploads though. That’s the only thing that’s bothered me.

If you like WordPress Automatic Upgrad (I’ve used it), then you will like 2.7, as there is an automatic upgrade included in this new version. One thing that got me on the new version is the permalinks. Posts have to be saved to edit the permalink.

So in 2.7 everything is new and everything changed. It will take time to settle your eyes for new changes. But however I like the new dashboard and everything is so nice placed and decorated.

I didn’t know upgrading was so easy—so I didn’t do it before. With the above mentioned WP Upgrade Plugin it’s as easy as pie to have the latest version running, so I made a backup and gave it a try—works wonderfully.

Why you have not update wordpress to 2.6. Straight leap from 2.1.3 to 2.7. Thats really a big jump.

Seems to me that everything is working fine and google also indexed your latest post as well. So seems to me everything is working fine. By the way which plugins you are using for wordpress update.
