About
Hi, I’m Julian Schrader and this is about me and my work.
Alongside running my design and webdevelopment business Schrader.io Design & Development I’m currently studying Business Informatics at the University of Würzburg.
I started designing and developing for the web back in 2002 with heavy use of frames and table-based layouts.
Everything’s different today™: I work according to accepted standards of the W3C—using XHTML, CSS, JavaScript (client-side) and Ruby on Rails or PHP to achieve server-side dynamics.
Since I’m confident about the quality and ease of use of most Apple products I’m using Macs for work and leisure and always carry my iPhone with me—a great device which managed to replace my digital camera, my mobile phone and my iPod. I ♥ those machines and do not refrain from telling everyone to get a Mac

Great work!
I am beginner in Web-Porgraming, but i will try to visit your sites more often to learn some new stuff.
You are a Mac-User dont you? Could you recommend me some CSS Editors for Mac?
Thanx Chris.
You can find my answer here: Editing CSS on a Mac
Hello,
I would like to set up a site very similar to this: text at the top with comments on the bottom. How did you create this site? Ideally, I’d like something very simple to use where I can cut and paste html. Is that possible? I also like that people don’t have to sign in to leave a comment. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Val
Hey val!
The easiest way to do this is to use a service like blogger or wordpress.com.
I run WordPress on my own server which gives me some more possibilities in terms of customization compared to a hosted service.

Julian

Julian – you left a post on the above webpage concerning how to delete tunes form iTunes on a Mac Pro (post 34). I have a MacBook and NOTHING seems to work, same goes for iPhoto. I’ve got not idea how to get rid of unwanted photos or songs. The song problem is particularly dire with the LimeWire library, where I can’t delete anything whatsoever. Can you help me out? Thanks.
Hi Dani,
Command + Option + Backspaceworks fine for me. By pressingBackspacewithout any of the other keys, it’s also possible to remove tracks from my iTunes library. Same goes forfn + BackspaceorDelete. In case all these options do not work for you, try to remove songs by highlighting them with a click and choose “Delete” from the menu “Edit”.
Good luck,
Julian
Danke! Now it finally worked! Have a good weekend! Dani
Hi Julian,
My name is Katy, I am part of the taskwriter.com (online, GTD oriented product) team. I have noticed that you are quite interested in Getting Things Done, you do have some really nice GTD articles posted on your blog.
I’m wondering whether you could help me with some thoughts and opinions on the product we are working on, http://www.taskwriter.com ? It would mean a lot to us.
Kind regards,
Katy
