It now possible to use skype for iphone with the Apple Bluetooth Headset.
You need to Jailbreak your iphone (at least iOS 3.1), Install SBSettings, and the SBS addons Bluetooth mono.Works perfectly with Skype, and Viber but not with Facetime (not so bad as you need to be in front of your phone)

Tested with an Jailbroken Iphone 4, iOS 4.1

Enjoy

Awesome post, mate. Just what I was looking. I had exactly the same problem, with a WordPress installation, but the Flash-uploader didn't work. But it does now, so perfect! Thanks a lot!

Thanks...I followed the video while I did it to a wired optical mouse: despite some comment or other it does work. I didn't find any problem with the cable being attached. There are two rings, both of which are glued on and need to be re-glued. I used what was handy: Titebond wood glue, can you believe it!? it's working and scrolling well. It's the same problem all ball mouse balls and sensors have, only at a tenth the size and with no easy way in! Mine had fuzz around the cams, so the paper trick wouldn't have worked, I think. As for this being community, I agree. Would you like to come over this Saturday and we'll have a go at my son's car's driver's side window button?

Hi Seyed,

I'm not using Beanstalk anymore, but that's indeed a problem (one of many) going the S/FTP deployment route.

What you could do: Beanstalk allows for web hooks — you could write a script that triggers a

touch …/tmp/restart.txt

after deployment. But there's no nicely “built-in” way to do this.

Hi Julian,

I too use Beanstalk and love the deploy feature for quickly uploading to my passenger sites. However, I've yet to find a way to get to restart the passenger app automatically (by say touching tmp/restart.txt).

Don't suppose you have any ideas on that one?

@halit korpe: of course you have a password. it is the one you chose when you started your mac the first time. if you forgot it use the system-dvds to restore the password.

I am also having this problem... I am a single user - so I set up no password... I just hit "return"

Sounds like you are one of the lucky ones with your mobile broadband experience - here in the UK speeds and connection can be really slow, they average around 1Mb and for those outside of town centres it can be much, much slower than this. On top of this the 3G network is too congested meaning speeds and connections are dropping. Bring on 4g!!

All of these make sense to me. I already use some of these, and am going to put a few others from the list into action.

But clutter and overload are not the only problems with email. What do you do about the problem of knowledge/information loss: http://blog.grexit.com/email-the-knowledge-morgue
